Hi, I am a 22 year old female suffering from anorexia. I hope this isn't against your rules, but I just wanted to tell you about my forum. www.emotionalawareness.lefora.com

I'm not here to spam or anything, and I would like to be an active member of this group, but I just wanted to tell you about my forum, as we touch on topics such as eating disorders, depression, phobias, anxiety/panic, bipolar, abuse, borderline, addiction, etc.

My forum is just getting started, but I would really appreciate it if you would check it out and maybe tell your friends who might need some support.

Thanks guys! <3

So I've been looking around at some recovery sites,
& found one that hasn't been updated in a while but had some good ideas about positive thinking.
in the last update she says how well she's been doing,
it really brightened up my day.

& found one which was a bit shocking.
I hate some doctors tbh.

A study was done recently that analyzed the results of treatment in the 50 years ending with the year 2000.

According to the study, treatment success did not improve over the first half of the century.

Less than 50% recovered. Another 30% or so showed some improvement. Many died.

We hope to improve the results. We know that results improve with early identification, and we do that better than anyone in the world.

We know that the most important factor in treatment success is the length of time followup care is practiced. We have the ability to do very long term followup care.

This community is dedicated to those who are considering treatment, who are in treatment, or who have been through treatment and wish to share their stories and experiences.
